Good morning all! Claude is out this a.m and asked me to take over the blog for the part of the day.
... and in the tradition of the great Claude... It is a wonderful morning here in Stockholm, we've finally been getting the snowy New Mexico weather of a month or so ago and it had been snowing up until last night or so in that peaceful day-dreaming stare out of the window sort of way. As the daylight hours are slowly increasing, the whiteness of the snowy sky was all the brighter. However, the -14C/6.7F temps were getting too annoying and it is now just a tad below freezing... and apparantly getting warmer...
Today I'l be trying to wrap up work in the hall and the bedroom, and perhaps if there is time, try to come up with a design for the closet I ripped out a few weeks ago.
We also have to paint the baseboards and door trim a few more times in this wonderful glossy antiqueish white since we had to remove the old ones when we polished the concrete floors.
Quite a bit of work and it has been dragging on too long:)
The chickens rabbit is doing well, in the works may be a new abode/play area, sustainable and quite possibly edible.
So, such is life... and how are you? What are you working on? Got a repair problem? Maybe we can help.
UPDATE Oh, and on that note, maybe you might find this interesting: in Stockholm we just got the results of a competition for our renowned library by Gunnar Asplund. If your interested to see what kind of ideas people suggest for architecture competitions have a look.
