I know this isn't much of a diary but I am really getting sick of this. Just up on the WaPo, Howie is once again letting the world know just how evil, spiteful and hateful the loony (and vile) Left truly is.

Nice headline, Howie!
A Sickening Death Wish
Comments posted following an attempt on Vice President Cheney's life were nothing short of vile.

In itself, I don't disagree with the title but please, Howie, why paint this as being unique to the left? Apparently, some posters got out of hand with comments on the attempted hit on our beloved VP over at HuffPo. To wish death, etc. on even a man as detestable as Cheney is wrong. No ifs, ands or buts about it. I know this was covered extensively yesterday in a diary and it's sad that we even have to come out and say such a reaction is wrong. But to paint this kind of thing as only indicative of the left is wrong and Howie should know that. Has this man ever even peeked at some of the hatred spewed on a daily basis over in Freeperville, RedState, Powerline, etc.? Ever?
It seems he's been taking his cues from Solomon, too, saving his last paragraph for his disclaimer
I would agree that it's absurd to view these assassination fantasies as anything other than the rantings of the fringe, and that they shouldn't be used to tar an entire ideology. All I'm saying is that it's really sad that some loons feel this way, and that the Internet culture, however briefly, gives them a megaphone.
The best thing about his whole article is that he references Michelle Malkin as the one who person who saved these rightfully deleted posts from HuffPo. Yeah, ol' Michelle never wished harm on anyone in her life. Right, Howie?
Sorry to make this so short and I'm sure some will be peaved at the length. I'm on my way out for awhile but didn't want Howie's little comments to slip by.
