"And who's that - who's your little cabin boy there with you?"
"I'm not a cabin boy, butt-boy."
"What are you doing there, cabin boy? I now dub you Sean Hannity's cabin boy."
"And you know what you are? You're 'Brokeback Alec.'"
-a stimulating, productive, friendly debate between Alec Baldwin and Mark Levin (and Sean Hannity) on WABC
It's interesting to see how maturity is thrown to the wind when opposing pundits meet. Listen to the rest of the interview to see what I mean. I'm no fan of Sean Hannity or Mark Levin, of course, but Alec Baldwin sure wasn't doing much to make the left look good. You know it'll end up being responsible for a new pack of baseless generalizations. Nice going, Alec. I'll deal with you later.
I listened to the interview again, laughed my ass off, and proceeded to write a new song. Please read and review. Be kind.
"Hannity"
To tune of "Waterloo" by ABBA
My, my — at Hannity did Baldwin bitch and whimper
Oh, yeah — and I've received his punditry in quite a similar way
His vitriol on the TV
Is making a lib out of me
CHORUS:
Hannity
I can't believe you support the war
Hannity
Or that you don't believe in Al Gore
Hannity
Couldn't shut up if you wanted to
Hannity
You're making all of us sick of you
Oh-oh-oh-oh, Hannity
I have to question your sanity
My, my — your blind faith in George Bush is quite appalling
Oh, yeah — you'd vote for him if he got head from interns in the White House
And if we went under assault
You'd tell us it's all Clinton's fault
CHORUS:
Hannity
You can't accept that some men are gay
Hannity
Somehow, you keep backing Tom DeLay
Hannity
None of us savour the work you do
Hannity
You're making all of us sick of you
Oh-oh-oh-oh, Hannity
I have to question your sanity
Your statements cannot be excused
Since all of them come from Fox News
CHORUS:
Hannity
I bet you'd like women back at home
Hannity
No equal time for your friend named Colmes
Hannity
Maybe one day you'll say something true
Hannity
You're making all of us sick of you
Oh-oh-oh-oh, Hannity
I have to question your sanity
