Madison was worried about the influence of "factions" or special interests on our country. He designed a series of checks and balances in attempt to limit the power of special interest groups. But it appears that he failed.
It's clear now that the Executive Branch is purely partisan and beholden to special interest groups. I'm not just talking about the White House. I mean the various agencies meant to serve the nation on a day to day basis.

The people have lost control over all branches of the government.
Is it time to move on or can something be done?
I don't mean revolution. That's simply not an option. Is there a political solution once we have lost the power? How do we get it back? Can we get it back?
