I was able to catch the replay of Kerry's NYU speech last night on CSPAN and feel a need to offer one significant critique, stylistically. Frequently, I heard him say to the effect of what the preznit should do. I would much rather hear him say, this is the situation that George Bush has got himself in and this is what I will do as president to try and fix it. When he says George should do this or that, it doesn't sound like HIS plan, he sounds like an impartial advisor. Lay it out- decribe the problem:
George Bush has screwed up our relationships with our allies and the U.N.
And then, how you, John Kerry will fix it.
