I've read about Rep Inslee working against my State Senator (Eric Oemig) and his Resolution to Petition the U.S. House for Impeachment. I've read his publicly stated reasons. This moved me to write the following letter.
Dear Representative Inslee,
I live in Kirkland. I voted for you. I also voted for Eric Oemig for State Senate. I strongly support his efforts there to bring a Resolution to Petition the U.S. House for Impeachment.
Today, Lewis Libby was convicted for covering up a smear campaign designed to cover for some of the lies that got us into a terrible mistake of a war. Also today we heard testimony from federal prosecuters purged from their jobs for political reasons, replaced without the consent of Congress.
I would think that on such a day, I would hear that you support Eric Oemig. I cannot imagine why I'm instead hearing that you're working against his resolution. I have read the duly reported reasons you have stated to the press - but those reasons would only apply if the Administration did not display the reckless disregard for the law that, among so many other terrible effects, lead to today's verdict and capitol hill testimony.
Sincerely,
