Warning: Head Explosion
I think Fox crossed the line, again, this morning.
Under the guise of a journalistic report, not an Op-Ed, and in the Business section, not 'Politics,' Fox claims the Walter Reed Scandal is an indictment of universal health care.
Never mind the problems at Reed originate with a privatization initiated by Bush. There is no lie Fox won't tell, no deception they won't practice, in their obsequient service to Whitelandia.
(Maybe Tom Collins can be asked about this?)
And, in terms of my bona fides, candidly I don't support universal healthcare. But I have pride, and shame, and I will make my case with facts, not lies, and I will not trash the weak to do so.
Without further adieu, the human excrement known as Karen Kerrigan:
Walter Reed Lessons for the Rest of Us

Washington, D.C. — If a government-run system of health care is so dysfunctional in how it treats Americans who put their lives on the line defending our nation, how do you think a nationalized approach would treat the rest of us?
I'm sorry- I can't go on here. This entire story is so demonstrably false it makes me ill.
OK, to give you an idea:
While Veteran Administration (VA) facilities have made great gains ...
Yes, things have been improving recently under Bush- right, Karen?
Tighter controls from government are already the driver of higher costs and fewer health coverage choices in most states.
No need for any substantiation whatsoever of this claim- right, Karen?
