Hey Al! You just burned up your fifteen minutes. Thanks to your uncontrollable Imus hysteria, you're once again the race-baiting, loud-mouth, defamatory, rabble inciting media whore that made you a name back in the Tawana Brawley days. You remember the Tawana incident, don't you? The one where you threatened entirely innocent communities with civil unrest (a.k.a. thinly veiled threats of riots)? Where you championed the cause of a charlatan, race-baiting con artist? Where you almost went to jail for abetting the hoax? Where you had to pay a $350,000 judgement for 7 counts of defamation of character? You remember the $300,000 you helped raise that the Brawley's embezzled to Virginia? They only thing you're lacking (so far) is the incendiary and provocative threat to disrupt a white suburb.
"Mr. Democratic Presidential Timber" is prostituting himself to anyone who'll spend the bandwidth on him. He's on every radio station, TV station and cable outlet, with no discrimination about the who or the where. What other way is there to describe Sharpton showing up on Fox's O'Reilly show? When Barack Obama and Jesse Jackson, as well as the DNC, refuse to play ball with Fox, you're willing to sell yourself to appear on their highest rated - and most reviled program. You refuse to address any similar behavior by members of the Black community, or by Black Urban radio stations, but you whore yourself out to Fox News, where they attack you every day of the week, and you, a black clergyman loan credence to their calling black churches "cults."
Maybe next you can make an appearance on Glenn Beck, where you can enable him to call Obama a "halfrican" again. Or you can do a panel appearance on Hannity with Ann Coulter to discuss effective race-baiting techniques. And then you can go on Rush Limbaugh and explain why Imus is a bigger threat to American Society than the Patriot Act. Then you can go home and count your filthy lucre.
Imus offended and disappointed me. But you disgust me.
