DUBAI, April 17 (Reuters) - The leader of an al Qaeda-led group in Iraq said on Tuesday he agreed with those who say the country has become a "university of terrorism" in a growing insurgency since the 2003 U.S.-led invasion.
"From the military point of view, one of the (enemy) devils was right in saying that if Afghanistan was a school of terror, then Iraq is a university of terrorism," the leader of the self-styled Islamic State in Iraq said in a Web audio recording.
"The largest batch of soldiers for jihad in the path of God in the history of Iraq are graduating and they have the highest level of competence in the world," said the speaker, identified as Abu Omar al-Baghdadi, leader of the group set up last year by al Qaeda's Iraq wing and some other Sunni groups.

Good job Bush you managed to turn a country that had nothing to do with 911 into the number one base for terrorism around the world. But, not only the number one base the number one terrorist learning center.
Go to Iraq to learn how to make the best IEDs in the world. How to evade detection of Western security services. How to build suicide vests and basically how to run a terrorist campaign. Worst of all they are prefecting the use of chemical weapons to use in warfare such as chlorine.
And, these people going to Iraq and coming home to Europe and Africa will teach many others what they learned who will teach others. Hell, even the Taliban are using Iraq as their university of terror.
Afghan Taliban says sending fighters to Iraq
A senior Taliban commander said in remarks broadcast on Friday that the Afghan Islamist group was sending fighters to Iraq to support anti-U.S. insurgents.
"Whenever there is a chance the (Afghanistan-based holy fighters) mujahideen travel to Iraq and the opposite is also true," Mullah Dadullah told Al Jazeera television in an interview.
"We have very strong relations with the mujahideen in Iraq. The mujahideen stay in Iraq for a month for example then they come here," he added in remarks dubbed in Arabic. "We also share intelligence." "Travel from and to Iraq is at a peak currently ... if any mujahid wants to carry out an operation in Iraq he can travel."
