Well folks, it is fairly clear to many of us that President George W. Bush's presidency is disintegrating into a completely disfunctional state.
We can argue about his failed policies in Iraq, but the truth is that the President is unable to do anything right. Even the best of plans are toast in the hands of this administration. I, you, and many of the American people are slowly realizing that it is pointless to think of this Presidency as being workable in any way. Perhaps it would be best for Senator Reid and Speaker Pelosi to work directly with the congressional republicans with the knowledge that nothing will be accomplished unless they come up with the votes to override a veto.
So, that being said. We will not be able to move on as a country until we can distinguish the future from this recent troubled past. The failed Neo-conservative experiment is over, and it's time to call it off. The evangelical army needs to be disbanded, and our hearts and minds need to be refocused toward solving the real survival problems for our people, and our country.
This can not happen as long as Bush's army remains intact. It is only a republican who can end this carnage. It is only a republican who can convincingly welcome the deceived masses back to the common good.
Only Kruschev can bury Stalin.
Obviously Mr. McCain has placed his political future into the hands of the very men who humiliated him 8 years ago. He is weak, and has sold whatever soul he had. Mr. Giuliani's recent attempts to make the Bush army believe that Bush is really OK...they are disgusting, and not conducive toward our real national goals of moving on.
I politely ask Senator John Warner. Sir, it is your time. The country is a mess, and you are a servent. You are nearing the end of your career, and you obviously understand the reality of the situation (not just the political reality). It is time for you to tell the truth about the President. Tell the truth about his lust for power, and tell the truth about the affects of this administration on our beloved country. At some point a man needs to decide what he stands for.
