So today was the big fat primary election for KY statewide races. This was my daughter's first election! She was born in December of last year, so she couldn't vote, but she tagged along to help her mom and dad. My family went together, as a bit of an outing. Below the fold you can see the photo, including my daughter's "democracy booties."

UPDATED - Thanks used PhotoBucket.
If anyone knows how to insert a photo in a blog, please let me know. Flickr used to give you the text, but now those folks don't seem to do that anymore. YouTube still does, fortunately. Darned Flickr....
We voted for Steve Beshear for Gov, and Jack Conway for Attorney General. We were a bit torn between Mike Weaver or "Todd" for Treasurer, but we pulled the lever for Weaver as a "thank you" for his efforts as a Fighting Dem last year.
There was also a Sec. of State and an Agriculture race, but those were much lower profile. We voted in 'em, but I ain't sharing those votes with y'all.
If you didn't vote yet, you probably are not a KY Kossack, so I won't exhort you to get out there and do it. I can't imagine a KY Kossack would have missed voting...
Here's hoping my guys Beshear and Conway pull off big wins! With them as nominees, we will dominate in the fall.
