Update: Jim Kelly with Syscom services just contacted me to notify me that the website is up and running, and it is indeed.

Democrat Betsy Markey was scheduled to announce her run today to unseat Marilyn Musgrave in Colorado's 4th congressional district.
Markey's not prepared to launch an internet-savvy campaign, though. Her website (which she hasn't advertised, as far as I know) appears to be fresh out of a sitebuilder kit, with no images, no working links and plenty of "lorem ipsum." The all-important "donate" function is missing, and even the address and phone numbers are placeholders.
The Coloradoan reported she was to kick-off with at a lunch in Greeley and an evening party in Fort Collins.
According to the Coloradoan's website (caution: annoying ad w/sound) today:
Markey, a Fort Collins resident and businesswoman, joins a Democratic field that includes Longmont state Rep. Brandon Shaffer, Fort Collins resident and former state Rep. Angie Paccione and Eric Eidsness.
Whoever emerges from the primary next summer would face Rep. Marilyn Musgrave, R-Fort Morgan, in the 2008 election.
"My campaign is about the basic values that have made America strong - hard work, integrity, patience, discipline and a can-do spirit. I believe our leaders should constantly seek solutions and not fight over their differences. That is the kind of leader I have been in business and in government, that is the kind of leader I am today, and that is why I’m running for Congress," said Markey.
