I am in the minority here, I don't have any problem with Hillary Clinton other than her Iraq War vote. She's clearly the strongest candidate in the race right now, so strong that unless Gore runs she's the nominee. I can't see anyone strong enough in this field to overtake her.
Your not only overtaking her, but beating both her and Bill Clinton. She's impressive, and her campaign is steaming ahead like a machine.
I like Barack Obama because of his early opposition to Iraq, and his call for unity. I like John Edwards for his consistent support for working families and universal health care.
However, they can't stop her. Hillary Clinton will be our nominee unless Al Gore enters this race.
Hillary Clinton leads in nearly every poll nationally. I understand it's early and it's primarily name ID. I think name ID along with her supporters could help her win the nomination.
In the latest AP Poll. Al Gore is in a virtual tie with Barack Obama. He has 20% compared to Obama's 21%. John Edwards had 12%.
Al Gore isn't even a candidate. Hillary Clinton was at 33%.
I fear Hillary Clinton's nomination not for any other reason other than a general election campaign with her as our nominee with be the nastiest in history. I really am getting tired of this primary battle, I can't imagine the general against the GOP.
Al Gore is ready to be President, he has a whole life of service that has prepared him for this challenge to restore our democracy and help save this earth from global warming.
There are many, especially in our party who don't want to see him run. Either fear of their favorite candidate's future or lack of faith in Gore's chances of winning. I hear the argument that Gore is better being an advocate for our climate crisis.
Here's my argument:
Haven't we seen the incredible power of the presidency over the past 6 years plus?
We need Al Gore to run for President, for this party, for this country, and for our world. Only one candidate can beat Hillary Clinton, only one candidate can beat all those joke of candidates in the Republican Party.
The candidate is Al Gore.
