Okay, I know that a worldwide consensus (particularly strong among Republican women anxious to affirm the masculinity-factor of their right-wing husbands--you know, guys like Gary Bauer) has granted the Vice President a mammoth member over the last several weeks. But a site I ran across the other day reveals with crystal clarity a far more likely explanation for that Holmesworthy lump in the trousers of W's office daddy.

Drainage bags. Urinary drainage bags are attached to catheters and penile sheaths. Their purpose is to hold urine drained from the bladder. There are leg bags, which are worn strapped inconspicuously to the thigh, knee or calf, allowing the person to move about freely. Leg bags are usually worn during the day, and hold between 350 ml and 750ml. Overnight bags hold approximately 2 litres and are usually attached to the end of the leg bag but may be connected directly to the catheter or sheath.
