Times are tough for John Edwards. He's behind Hillary and Obama in the polls. When you google John Edwards haircut, you can't even find Rush Limbaugh's take on the matter, but you do get a report from MSNBC
Looking pretty is costing John Edwards' presidential campaign a lot of pennies. The Democrat's campaign committee picked up the tab for two haircuts at $400 each by celebrity stylist Joseph Torrenueva of Beverly Hills, Calif., according to a financial report filed with the Federal Election Commission.
This is really unfortunate because Edwards is one of the few candidates who is standing up to Bush.
How can we abandon a candidate who isn't afraid to say
"The war on terror is a slogan designed only for politics, not a strategy to make America safe. It's a bumper sticker, not a plan,"
"It has damaged our alliances and weakened our standing in the world."
"By framing this as a 'war,' we have walked straight into the trap that the terrorists have set -- that we are engaged in some kind of clash of civilizations and a war against Islam,"

We certainly can't depend on the New York Times to give us a sensible take on Edwards. According to Maureen Dowd
Speaking of roots, my dad, a police detective who was in charge of Senate security, got haircuts at the Senate barbershop for 50 cents. He cut my three brothers’ hair and did the same for anyone else in the neighborhood who wanted a free clip job. Even now, Mr. Edwards could get his hair cut at the Senate barbershop for $21 or the Chapel Hill Barber Shop near his campaign headquarters for $16.
Even Markos can't bring himself to talk about anything else when it comes to Edwards.
...the more time passes, the more his "haircut" deal pisses me off. Why? I see it as a stategic, tactical, and personal failure, and one that was so easy to avoid that it makes me question his judgment in a long, tough, presidential battle.
I think Edwards needs to take some radical action NOW!!! He needs to do something.... anything to change the subject. He needs to show some macho. He needs to add some toughness to his more sensitive side.
My advice for Mr. Edwards is to get another haircut... A really short haircut...a crewcut.
Take a look at this.
John Cena. WWE champion. A tough guy, but a good guy. Someone who never backs down from a fight. Edwards needs to call the press, schedule an appointment with an old Italian barber in his home town and get this haircut!
Cena's signature move in the WWE is the STFU
If Edwards wants to save his campaign and get the MSM and the RWNM to STFU its time to break the clippers out. In fact I think he'd look great in it. Its a classic lots of guys have them. What the hell does he have to lose?
