Secretary of State Rice got all upset at the closing of a media outlet in Venezuela (rightly so). She said clearly that it is not unpatriotic to challenge the government. And she stated:
"I am quite certain that it would be difficult for any commission to debate more fully, to criticize more fully the policies of the United States government than is done every night on CNN, on ABC, on CBS, on NBC and on any number of smaller channels," she said. Though she may be giving too much credit to some, she was correct in leaving Fox News off of that list. They would never fear a shut-down over criticizing the current regime if our government was so inclined...
