I am sure many here are eagerly awaiting the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows this coming Friday night/ Saturday morning. I know I'll be at my local Barnes & Noble on Friday night, drinking pumpkin juice, eating Honeydukes' chocolates, and waiting for the stroke of midnight so I can buy my copy of the last Potter novel.
J.K. Rowling has done an excellent job in creating Harry and his wizarding world, and has me at the edge of my seat wondering what will ultimately happen to Harry, Voldemort, Ron, Hermione, and everyone else. Even as an almost middle aged adult, I can't remember a series of novels that have been better crafted than Harry Potter, and have clearer lessons on good vs. evil, and loyalty and friendship.
I have already seen some news stories about details of the novel leaking out, and I think I'm going to have to try to avoid the internet somewhat until Sunday. Hopefully no one on this site will post any spoiler info, and we can all enjoy the novel and be surprised at the end.
I wish everyone happy reading, and remember: Voldemort is a Republican.
