OK, so I've got a crush on the girl who's got a crush on Obama. And in this wonderful land of net savvy politicos, not one searchable mention of this You Tube phenom? What is up with that?
Not just You Tube mind you, but written up in The Economist, front page of Seattle Post. She's taken a neat twist on internet activism on behalf of a candidate. Prior to the release of the Obama video, she was a relative unknown in a city of models. Now she's both helping Obama while getting publicity for herself at the same time. Self serving? I say no. She's bringing attention to her candidate, and the publicity she gains for herself will be fleeting, while the impact of the next presidential election will be historic.
Read About Her Yourself!
So why, when I do a search on DKOS for this fantastic mix of the political and the aesthetic (not meant to be an ironic description of the candidate himself), do I come up finding nothing? Is no one paying attention?
