I was driving into town today, in the "RealFeel" 117 degree weather, and almost drove off the road when I heard a radio host on the local classic rock station tell the joke about Bush hearing that 3 Brazilian soldiers had been killed in Iraq. He told the joke like it was a news story, which made it even more effective, and his co-host was going, Oh, no..when she thought it was about dead soldiers, and then he did the punch line..
Bush asking "How many is a brazillion?". His co-host cracked up and intimated that it was a pity we have a president that is that stupid..and then they went on to laugh about some of the other stupid stuff he has done. Right out in public, on FL radio!!! I was amazed!! Down here, we get mostly RW talking points, and other points of view are not heard on non-talk radio. This gives me hope that FL may be turning bluer faster than anticipated.
I know this isn't a long diary, and not a very important subject, but seeing the glimmer of the turn-around on the radio was soooo nice that I thought I would let you all know about it too.
