Yesterday nobody matched my contribution to Ron Shepston, so I'm not sending him anything more today.

Everyone knows Darcy; I don't need to explain why I'm sending her $20 today - or why I want you to join me. So instead, today, a poll. I'm disappointed by yesterday's performance, and I'd like your help in explaining it.
I'm writing this series with a few objectives. I could just quietly give money to candidates I support, to support them, and I'd really be more comfortable doing that. But I want to bring them more money than I can give on my own, so one of my objectives with this series is, by being public about my contributions, and by offering a little bit of a match, to encourage other people to contribute. I leverage my contribution with yours, and you leverage yours with mine. There's something nice and symmetrical about that. I also want to raise other people's awareness of specific House candidates and campaigns, to bring some of the attention that seems to me to be excessively on the Presidential horse race around to races where - again, in my opinion - there is more opportunity for us - you and me - to make a difference.
So, that's what's behind this series. It isn't getting a lot of attention, and I'd like to know why. I'd like to make it better. So - a poll. If your answer isn't here, please answer in comments. Thanks!
