Last month we supported Beshear for Governor, but DFA in Kentucky - AKA Change for Kentucky (CFK) is not about to stop there. Saturday 9-15-07 is CFK for a Day - Jack Conway for Attorney General!
Follow me below the fold for details...
We have found that by synchronizing our efforts across the state - so that on one day, in as many counties as possible, volunteers are trumpeting support for our candidates - we can amplify our voice and more effectively call for change.

GRASSROOTS VOLUNTEERS CANVASS KENTUCKY IN SUPPORT OF JACK CONWAY
Dozens of Citizens from all around KY Knock Doors to Spread News:
As Attorney General, Jack Conway Will Ensure that Justice is Done
Louisville – On Saturday, September 15, members of Change for Kentucky in counties across the state will gather with friends and family members to walk neighborhoods and knock on doors, building support for Attorney General candidate Jack Conway. In downtown Maysville, Change for Kentucky volunteers even organized a September 15 BBQ fundraiser and concert.
The last four years have convinced many that a vigilant Attorney General is an important line of defense against government corruption. The cost of Republican corruption to Kentuckians has been incalculable, and the vigilance of the Attorney General's office has allowed the citizens insight into the merit hiring scandal. Attorneys General can also serve vital roles in consumer advocacy, environmental protection, and criminal prosecution.
"When our neighbors see our familiar faces on the other side of their screen door, knocking to explain the vital role the Attorney General plays, and how critical it is to fill that office with someone as talented and honest as Jack Conway, we will make an impact," said Mike Bailey, Change for Kentucky's co-organizer. "On Saturday, in homes across the state, a knock will be heard at the door. One conversation and one doorstep at a time, we can educate Kentuckians and grow the ranks of Jack Conway supporters."
