I just found out my dog has lymphoma...
She's just the best dog in the world... I adopted her from the Humane Society 5 years ago and we've been together ever since. I've moved about 4 times, had three boyfriends, graduated school, started a contract, finished a contract and she has always been here with me... being hilarious and gorgeous all the time.
I'm just so sad... I live in Guelph Ontario, which is the home of the best veterinary college in Canada, so I should at least be able to get her the best treatment, but that only gives her a year, if she tolerates it, if it works, and it's $1500 and I'm currently unemployed... otherwise, she has a couple of weeks.
Molly has the most amazing personality, she loves everyone and draws them in with her gorgeous face and wonderful personatlity (and that howl)... I can't take her for a walk without 5 separate people stopping me to tell me she's so beautiful and wishing to meet her.
She's only 5.5 or 6 years old... and she's always been so healthy, never an ear infection or gastric problem... just a slight bit of conjuctivitis once/yr in the spring.
This has been a particularly hard six months for me and Molly is always there to make me happy... I can't bear to think she might not be there anymore...
Anyway, I just wanted to talk about my dog... thanks for listening...
