Here's a little sense of what our good senators think of about war with Iran. Yes, there is a lot of disappointment to go around. But Hillary voting for a resolution that senses we should use "military instruments" against Iran?

Let me tell you something. When General "I support Hillary" Wesley Clark was talking to Tucker Carlon about war with Iran, Tucker said he completely agreed with what Clark said. What did Clark say? That we aren't fighting a war with Iraq. Clark said that we are fighting a War with Iran in Iraq because Iran is over the border and funding Iraqis
I had a sense myself that this meant Hillary was (yet again) shifting right-ward and looking to start the drum roll on War with Iran.
Now we see where she stands.
YOU SEE WHERE SHE STANDS.
how the heck could any true progressive vote for her?
No way. Not now. Not ever. As Churchill once said "never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever..."
UPDATE: from the comments (gunny6247, thanks!). apparently Webb has spoken out on this
We haven't had one hearing on this. I am on the Foreign Relations Committee, I am on the Armed Services Committee. We are about to vote on something that may fundamentally change the way the United States views the Iranian military, and we have not had one hearing. This is not the way to make foreign policy. It is not the way to declare war, although this clearly worded sense of the Congress could be interpreted this way. These who regret their vote 5 years ago to authorize military action in Iraq should think hard before supporting this approach, because, in my view, it has the same potential to do harm where many are seeking to do good.
