Ok, Howard Wolfson: Take the premise to the logical conclusion.
Bill Clinton (whom I loved and supported through it all) was guilty of marital infidelity and lying to a federal prosecutor. The Blue Dress was the evidence. Without the Blue Dress, Bill would have kept denying the affair until his term was over, right?
So when you accuse Barack Obama of "acting like Ken Starr" in asking for Hillary to release her tax returns and other financial data, what does she have to hide?
And really, is that the way to endear Hillary to Democratic Voters, bringing up the sordid mess that was the Lewinsky affair? I would think that we would want to frame the possible next president of the United States in a more dignified light than that.
Between her cackle and her claims of being treated "unfairly" by the press, I am more than a little tired of Hillary. Do we want another eight years of her complaining about being picked-on?
I, for one, am ready for a brilliant commander in chief who will enhance America's image abroad and solve problems at home. I am ready for Obama.
