I can see
I can all those conservatives wagging their fingers and tutting at Eliot Spitzer.
I know with the next natural disater, conservatives will tell us it's God's wrath for Spitzer's action.
Personally i think he has let his wife and kids down, and let them down big time. I also think he should be censured and hit with a heavy fine ( I mean 100,000 plus )
But beyond the incident, there is an issue about sex workers, and how people like Eliot Spitzer acts to keep the oldest industry alive and kicking.
As a society, do we have such contempt for people, that they have to survive by doing tricks for bucks, or feel empowered to sell their bodies as a career?
Again I am not judging people who are sex workers, i appreciate people do it to live from day to day.
I am not throwing stones at Spitzer, because I'm not in a position too, espically when the GOP senate contigent gave David Vitter around of applause for his misdeamours.
Spitzer's actions and those in the sex industry also reflect badly on us as a society.
