There have been several diaries regarding tonight's debate - but I haven't seen this mentioned.
All of the McCain campaign's distractions (suspensions, delays, general asshatting) have not gone unnoticed by the folks down south. Apparently they are pretty pissed. Courtesy of National Review Online:
A Hostile Audience
By Rich Lowry
One side effect of McCain's debate gambit is, I'm told, that everyone at Ole Miss now hates him. It will make for a very hostile audience tonight among those students and faculty attending. He might have to apologize for creating the uncertainty or make some explanation up front, which is never ideal.

For those of you who remember, McCain is not at his best when facing hostile audiences. Remember its not that uncommon for Johnny to get booed.
And lest we forget this oh-so awkward appearance at CPAC.
McCain always looks a little uncomfortable when he is out of his echo-chamber. If he is as confused as we all think he is, I suspect that a hostile crowd is NOT going to help. Heres to hoping that Ol'Miss gives him the welcome he so desparately deserves.
Welcome to Ole Miss, Grandpa!
