As we get closer to caucus night...I just have a feeling Hillary just might win in Iowa. It's no doubt in my mind she will be the nominee, b/c she, in my opinion, is by far she is the best candidate.
In Iowa, however, I was never quite sure, but now I'm really starting to believe. The reason why? Well Iowans are starting to use their heads:
After one Clinton event:
"Asked for impressions, Jan Dale, 66, his wife, Donna Dale, 66, and their friend Mitch Kerns, 48, all of Ames, said they intend to caucus for Clinton after attending Democrats Barack Obama and John Edwards events."
Asked why they were supporting Clinton:
"She's the best speaker of all, Jan Dale, a retired psychologist. She's likable despite what some of them say. She's great with one lines and she has a better knowledge of all the problems than the rest of the candidates."
And of course the obvious:
"She's a great woman, said Donna Dale, a retired teacher. It'd be good to have a woman president."
For all the mythical complaints about Clinton not answering questions:
"I appreciate the fact that she took questions and answered them and she had very sound answers for the questions she was asked, Kerns answered."
For all the rhetoric from Edwards and Obama, and I'm pretty sure they are good people...but when you compare the three it's just not even close. With C-Span airing all the candidates the past few days, I have had the chance to listen to the candidates...and I totally agree with the Mr. and Mrs. Dale and Mr. Kearns.
