I was very touched by the positive response received by my debut diary about the uplifting and unifying Obama rally held in Jersey City This week.

Thank you very much. My one lament about the event was the tame and somewhat hodgepodge of music played over the loudspeakers. (I would say "mishmash," but it wasn't a mash-up at all). Since Obama really deserves a theme song worthy of his candidacy, and ...
... having great faith in the collective Kos-ciousness to come up with the perfect anthem to open up every rally and fire up both the faithful and the unfaithful, I'm soliciting suggestions. Thus far, Serrano has recommended:
"There's No Stopping Us Now by McFadden & Whitehead
"You Can Feel It All Over," by Stevie Wonder
"I'll Take U There" by the Staples Singers
I'll give it a couple days and create a poll where everyone can vote.
Ps. I personally like Mike Oldfield's version of Philip Glass's "North Star" on Polaris, Part IV, but, alas, it's
a) an instrumental
b) obscure
c) dates me (fortunately though, because if I didn't have that to date me, I wouldn't have anyone to date me at all. Just kidding).
So it won't be a choice, alas.
