Like Mother Theresa, he’s very inspirational, but you can’t count on saying the Holy Rosary to get things done.
He attended an Irish Catholic school that was a breeding grounds for the IRA.
Bringing a six pack and potato to a press conference is not going to get him any votes.
If you want a poetic, thoughtful, imaginary Irish friend Kennedy is the man for you. If you have to face sober reality, vote for Nixon.
The Irish have produced some of the most beautiful poetry and prose in the world in espousing their cause. But it took Margaret Thatcher to really bring that beauty to fruition.
We democrats have to be careful. The Protestants might say he’ll outlaw abortion and birth control. After all, look at all the kids in the Kennedy family.
Falling on our knees and saying a couple of Hail Mary’s won’t bring about change.
You know he admitted to drinking. How do we know he is not a drunk and a bootlegger?
