Bill is acting more like the candidate than the spouse of the candidate. Bill is acting as the front man for the campaign, but should that not be the "actual" candidate's job? He is explaining things to the press, if it concerns the campaign should not the candidate be doing that? I think most Dems realize where Bill stands and any further clarification should fall in Hillary's lap.
Hillary wanted to be seen as the tough experienced candidate, but since her softer side seems to be working well to gain her votes, she is playing it full tilt. On Tyra Banks show she went into her handling of the adultery situation---the sympathy card is worth votes--use it! Her bulldog is making the gender card acceptable, by saying he could not make her black or taller or MALE. And he seems to think that he must come to her rescue when he says that the male candidates were picking on her. Is she or isn't she tough enough to run for president?
Personally, I want to hear her detailed plans for the economy, health care, etc. I have read all the synopses of her stands now let me hear the rest of the story. I want a battle of ideas, not a battle of he said, she said. To begin with, no matter who is president, and that includes Hillary; no plan can be used for change without the Congress. How will she get the Congress to go along with her proposals? She is promising, like all politicians, but I have not heard how she will make her promises a reality.
Bill needs to shut up and let the "real" candidate speak. Unless, of course, there is no real plan at all and his constant babbling is just to keep the MSM off his wife and to keep the voter confused. Confusion does seem to work to a candidate's advantage. Am I supposed to vote for Hillary or Bill? This needs to be clarified, for I voted for Bill in the past, but now I do not know if I will vote for him. Hillary needs to take control and become the candidate she keeps telling us she is. For the more that Bill runs his mouth, the more he appears to be the candidate for president and Hillary looks like nothing more than the wife of the candidate.
I am not degrading Hillary; I think she will make an excellent nominee. I am concerned that Bill is overshadowing her candidacy. He is making it more about himself and his legacy, than his wife’s attempt to be the president. As I have said, I have already voted for Bill, now I want him to shut up and let Hillary do the talking.
