Bob Herbert's column in today's New York Times put me over the top. It's a must read in my opinion and can be found at the following link. http://www.nytimes.com/...
If you remove the names of the candidates you would think it was Karl Rove selling the same old republican garbage. I never thought I would hear a democratic candidate pull out the "if we are attacked" card, like Hillary did, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised by craven ambition. To have this shit come out of the Clinton campaign is disgraceful. Bill has made an ass of himself and will hand the next election over to the Republicans, just like he did in 2000. As good as it looks for the Democrats at this time on the generic ballot because of the fools running on the other side, that will all vanish when the republiclowns have the Clinton's to run against. Think about it, it would be like Jeb Bush running for the GOP, how would that motivate the dems? Bill has been un-presidential at best, but what should you expect of a guy that cheats on his wife while the world watches. Our country needs a change from Bush/Clinton/Bush/Clinton. Aside from the politics the Clintons are no better than the Bushes.
I have been for Obama long before he announced his candidacy but have always intended on supporting anyone that beat him. I was not at all bothered by his loss in NH. The Clinton's flat out beat him. I figured, no big deal it was a clean win for team Clinton and a learning lesson for Barack. Lesson being, don't believe the headlines. He was a bit over-confident, but can you blame him. I was already changing October to Baracktober on all my calendars. But then Bill left the reservation. Now I'm not sure if I'll support Hillary if she is our candidate.
