This person spoke for me.
He worked 18 hours a day without break for almost a year to give me a voice.
I am sad to see him go. I cry inside and outside for my country.
People say.."the system is broken"
"It's too dependent on money"
He was fighting to fix the system so everyone had the same chances. So life wouldn't so hard for someone who elected to be born to poorer parents.
But...I can't blame John Edwards. I sit here make calls on his and John Laesch's behalf...but it is like pulling teeth. It's the most horrible job.
It's hard work.
Not as hard, though, as traveling daily, never having enough sleep, having to repeat the same talk endlessly, to meet people for hours even when you are grumpy, have the media ask you stupid repetitive questions day in and day out, having people question your motives, repeatedly being rejected at the polls, not having enough money
...all the while knowning ...the love of your life only has a few years to live.
I couldn't ask any human being to go through that, just to give me a voice.
It took a great man to do what he has done so far.
Thankyou JOHN EDWARDS. For being a true American Patriot.
God Bless!
