This will be a short diary, but I have to ask the question. It may not be politically correct. It may not be wise. But I think it just might be relevant.
This country has never had a woman president. This country has never had an African American president. This country has never even had any of them run for president.
The closest we ever came was a woman on the ticket for vice president. Didn't work out so well.
Is anyone else worried that we will be hanging the next four years on this? Let me set something straight right now. I don't think this should be an issue. I think it's all about the ideas. I think it's all about the person. I think it's all about the qualifications.
I think it should NOT be about race. I think it should NOT be about sex.
Do enough people think the same way? A difficult question I think.
