I love analogies - yesterday Iowa was Christmas Eve and I was wondering if Santa was really going to come. Well he did, I didn't get everything that I wanted but I'm still happy.
John Edwards did very well, coming in 2nd in a contest that featured "super star" candidates on a playing field that had bright lights on two players and almost no light for the rest. (Analogy #2)
Now finally it's "show time" for NH and I hope this state earns it's place on the national schedule. I find it difficult to believe that NH is going to rubber stamp the Iowa results. I hope they will take them to the next level which to me is real change means choosing a candidate who is prepared to fight for it. John has been fighting this fight and winning his whole life.
Seabiscuit is a great story and a great analogy. John Edwards had the raw skill, the tempered streangth and the heart to lead us in the battle to take back our country. There's work to be done and damage to be undone.
So here we go -Round 2/next inning/second chapter/next page/an election
