This one's a bit thin, but Obama had it goin' on right here in my hometown of La Crosse, WI this morning.
In a little city of around 50,000 citizens, Obama managed to draw an estimated 15-18 thousand people to his rally downtown today, which was far more than the campaign or the city expected:

For some perspective, La Crosse County is in western Wisconsin, which is one of swingiest areas of one of the swingiest states. This county is neither red nor blue. Our U.S. and state representatives-two of today's warm up acts-are Democrats Ron Kind and Jennifer Schilling, respectively, while our state senator is Republican Dan "I bought my seat by building a baseball stadium" Kapanke. Our mayoral elections are technically non-partisan, but our current(wildly unpopular)mayor has Republican ties, while his predecessor had Democratic affiliations.
You get the idea.
As a hotly contested area, we've had our share of visits by Presidents and Presidential hopefuls(Clinton has been here twice, and all four Presidential and VP candidates showed up here in '04).
La Crosse is a politically interesting little city, and apparently "Nightline" thinks we deserve a little face time:

Should be interesting.
