Pardon me if this has been diaried; if so, down it goes...
I cannot find an imbed link to the video of the lone black man who spoke out against Obama at a McCain rally yesterday but Raw Story has it and you can view it here.
Please take a moment to hop over and watch it then join below the fold to find out who this "courageous" soul is who took the "ass whoopin'" for John McCain and Sarah Palin.
First, a hat-tip to "EC" over at Democratic Underground who spotted him; it would seem this is none other than a right-wing radio hack named James T. Harris from Newsradio 620 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
When I Googled Mr. Harris, I found an interesting site: BBS News. I know nothing about BBS news but this is what they say about themselves at the top of their page:
Where TRUE conservative "family values" do not include hidden bigotry or blatant social and environmental ignorance.
If that's true, my hat's off to them... And they did find out some interesting things about Mr. Harris:
BBSNews 2008-10-09 -- By Michael Hess. Did Senator John McCain hire the man he hugged in a town-hall campaign event in Waukesha, Wisconsin? ...
In Waukesha James T. Harris, an AM conservative radio host admonished McCain: "It is absolutely vital that you take it to Obama, that you hit him where it hurts, there's a soft spot." (and) "I am begging you, sir, I am begging you. Take it to him."
So who is James T. Harris? He's an AM radio talk show host on Saturday and Sunday afternoons for WTMG AM 620 in Milwaukee. But there is more to James T. Harris. He's outsource ready.
Harris runs a business called "IllumiNation". The Web page that describes how to engage Harris's services are indeed quite illuminating:
"Choose Your IllumiNation™ Program Now in Three Easy Steps!
1. Know the Desired Outcomes you want your audience to experience.
- Define an ample time slot to allow us to introduce and unpack the program for those outcomes.
- Pick a single program or combine multiple programs that fit the allotted time and desired outcomes."
I'm sure it is just a coincidence, and we have no evidence that John McCain's campaign would actually hire PR type people such as Harris to help move along the campaign, but if McCain ever needs someone from Wisconsin to stand up and ask a question the campaign would like to have asked, maybe as a precursor to the last debate of the general election season, James T. Harris looks like he can deliver.
And just look what Mr. Harris got for his trouble -- I hope it was worth it. This is from a comment that was left on his blog for Mr. Harris by what is apparently a typical McCain supporter, who is apparently unable to use anything but caps. (I substituted some asterisks where the OP - "Ralph" - used the "N" word)
THANK YOU FOR CARRYING THE WATER FOR JOHN McCAIN BUT REMEMBER WHEN THIS IS OVER AND YOU HAVE DONE YOUR JOB FOR US YOU ARE STILL NOTHING BUT A N***ER!!! N***ER!!! N***ER!!! SO JUST REMEMBER WE TOLERATE YOU WHEN YOU ARE OUR HOUSE N***ER BUT WHEN THIS IS OVER YOU ARE JUST A N***ER! DON'T FORGET IT BOY.

Well, isn't that special? I hope Mr. Harris sees who he's fighting for and again, that the money was worth it.
