I feel like Rachel Maddow....talk me down!
Often I will watch only the round table discussions because the first part of the Sunday talk show seem like campaign stump rhetoric. But today, I was curious to hear the pundits take on the Troopergate report. From what I saw today (watched This Week on TV and MTP online) ...SILENCE...NOTHING...NOT A WORD.
Did I miss something?
Both Meet the Press and This Week are filmed on Sunday, right?
Lord knows if Obama or Biden had been cited for ABUSE OF POWER there would have been a sizable portion of the Sunday talk shows dedicated to that topic.
Because McCain is behind in the polls, his debate appearances were sub par, his strategy is ever-changing, and his/her divisive rhetoric has triggered violent, nasty, and sometimes racist outbursts from their riotous crowds, I think the press has decided that McCain/Palin has had enough bad press for the week and talking about Troopergate wouldn't be fair.
But continuing to talk about Ayers, Wright and Rezko is NO PROBLEM! (As long as the press remembers NOT to mention Alaskan Independence Party, Keating, G. Gordon Libby, Pastor Muthee AND Troopergate.)
The "fair" press: always reminding me how we ended up in Iraq.
DELETED ***CONSPIRACY THEORY***
Thanks to starrzy, who let me know the MTP panel was introduced earlier in the show, so part of the panel discussion (probably - LOL!) was not cut out of the show.
