Today we have learned a lot about the common man and undecided voter Joe the Plumber.
- He was not undecided
- He is a registered Republican and voted in the republican primary
- He is not earning the amount he was worrying about making
- He has tax troubles: non payment
- and now he is not even licensed and would probably need one to buy the company
COLUMBUS, Ohio - Joe the plumber, American's most famous tradesman, said he doesn't have a plumbing license.
Joe Wurzelbacher said he works for a small plumbing company that does residential work. He said that because he works for someone else, he doesn't need a license.

Wurzelbacher, 34, said he doesn't have a good plan put together on how he would buy Newell Plumbing and Heating.
He said the business consists of owner Al Newell and him. Wurzelbacher said he's worked there for six years and that the two have talked about his taking it over at some point.
"There's a lot I've got to learn," he said.
...and of course the amount of money he would earn should he buy the company he works for was $250,000, the amount of income that would face a higher tax under the Obama proposal. He is now in the category (Bureau of Labor Statistics, the mean annual wage for plumbers, pipefitters and steamfitters in the United States in 2007 was $47,350) to get a tax break to save up to hypothetically buy the company but he couldn't bring himself to be a real "straight talker".
When all this is done he will only be left with his plumber's smile!
