"Hello. I'm calling for John McCain and the RNC. You need to know that Barack Obama has worked closely with domestic terrorist, Bill Ayers, whose organization bombed the U.S. Capitol, the Pentagon, a judge's home, and killed Americans."
And with that, the RNC unleashed the dogs. By phone, mail and airwaves, the worst of our country's darkest days have returned in a high-tech castration designed to defeat the first African American who would be president. Join me below for a roundup of the RNC and McCain's strategy to play on the worst fears of the weakest Americans.
It all started with "He's a muslim," "Hamas has endorsed Obama," "He's an Arab." Then they went postal: "He pals around with terrorists," "kill him," "off with his head," "the blacks will take over," "Ludacris will paint the white house black," "He's like Osama."
A cold chill should have sprinted down our collective spins last night when McCain passed on denouncing Palin's "pals around with terrorists" comment to express his pride for the people who attend his rallies.
This country has not seen nor experienced this level of hate in the history of presidental elections. Of course, our history is riddled with examples of klan rallies where similar sentiments were shouted. In those days, the haters drove down long dark roads to open fields for meetings just prior to sending the crazies off in the pick-ups to chase down the nearest African American male to hang from the strongest tree.
And today while the MSM and cable news channels were distracted by a faux plumber, the long dark road and open field were replaced by the internet, the phone, direct mail and events for a 21st century style lynching of an African American who dared to dream of being president.
And McCain-Palin are getting a huge get of out jail free card about their own associations: Keating, Gordon Liddy, the Alaska Independence Party and the US Council on World Freedom. William Ayers is the centerpiece of the McCain-Palin's fourth quarter strategy.
Below are the top three tactics in McCain's strategy to Nov. 4:

Racism is about fear on the unfamiliar and different. Most of us get that. But this is 2008, we have sent robots to the farthest corners of the universe. And yet, on the eve of an historic moment, there are some in our midst who would work to impede our progress, to slow our reaching the next phase of what our destiny to begin a new chapter for our country.
Take the poll.
