McCain used 37 million in September. What does that mean? He is in money TROUBLE!!
"McCain has $47 million to spend in October
WASHINGTON (AP) — Republican presidential candidate John McCain reports spending $37 million in September and has $47 million for the campaign in October.
McCain's monthly financial report filed with the Federal Election Commission shows he had $47 million in the bank at the start of October. McCain is no longer raising funds because he is participating in the presidential election public financing system. That restricts his spending to $84 million between early September and Election Day Nov. 4.

Well, there is more, we know how much he spent on ads in the 2 first weeks of October:
McCain spent $10 mill in the week 7-13 October.

He spent $7,2 mill the week before that.

So, we know that he has used $17 mill on ads the 2 first weeks in October. So that means he can use $30 mill the last 3 weeks on ads AND on other costs such as payroll and travel expenses. McCain spent $18 mill on "other" costs in August, so even if he actually managed to CUT costs to $15 mill it would mean that he only has $15 mill to spend on ads for the last 3 weeks, thats $5 mill a week. Even if he managed to cut "other" costs to $10 mill through a miracle, he would only be able to spend $6,5 mill on ads per week.
So, here is the thing. Obama can INCREASE spending on ads, probably by a lot, McCain must cut his spending. He cannot afford to spend $10 mill a week, which he did 7-13 October. Yes, McCain will get help from the RNC, but there are limits to how much they will help and can help. RNC spent $6 mill on ads 7-13 October, so Obama outspent McCain+RNC by 2-1 even when RNC helped. Obama raised $150 mill in September, I think we will be looking at least 5-1 or even 6-1 in ad spending the last 2-3 weeks. Obama has a HUGE cash advantage and McCain is running OUT of Cash.
