Well this is refreshing. After weeks of witnessing vile behavior and rhetoric go unchallenged at McCain rallied it was beyond reassuring to see McCain supporters doing the right thing at a rally.
I'm not sure why this people support McCain, but these Muslim Americans did stand up to the racist elements in their midst. They were joined by a few self proclaimed Christian Conservatives and managed to shame and chase off the dregs from the crowd.
Now if only they could convince their candidates to do the same.

This is in such stark contrast to the 106 year old African American woman in Atlanta who is voting for Obama. Not only did she leave her home to vote, but at the polling site she was greeted by the mayor.
For Mayor Shirley Franklin this was something to celebrate: "I thought that I would accompany her today to support her, but also to say to all people that this is a choice we have," Franklin said.
"As all Americans, we should cherish the right to vote and take every opportunity we have to vote our opinions. She is an inspiration to me personally, but she is also quite an inspiration to all Atlanta."
It sad that all the GOP has left is hatred and racism. It's sad they are becoming the worst stereotypes depicted about them. It's sad they are doing it to themselves. It's sad because they once were the party of Lincoln.
