Britt Leis of Oregon is not the first American to be attacked in Latin America. Benjamin Linder of Portland, Oregon was killed by terrorists known as the "contras." Four months after his murder, McCain visited the torture camps of the contras and rallied them in war chants (along with Bob Dole).
McCain sent his own money (his own money! see Washington Post, 2/9/1988) to the contras and visited their torture camp just four months after they killed Americans Benjamin Linder (of Portland) and three years before the contras killed American Sister Maureen Courtney (of Milwaukee). (on McCain's visit, see Washington Post, September 2, 1987 and NACLA's article at http://nacla.org/...
More American bodies were later found, including that of a priest, at the camp where McCain and Dole led the contras in war cheers (see NACLA and "Honduras Begins Exhumation at Former Contra Base" Aug 27, 2001, by Daniel Leclair for reuters.)
McCain was on the board of an organization that sent military supplies and money to the contras as well as the Osama bin Laden-led armed groups in Afghanistan . . . (see NYT 10/14/1986)
and even the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia/Thailand (see NYT above).
Some of this is outlined in my book, Gook: John McCain's Racism and Why It Matters, and some of it is in my new videos. See here:

I plan on fleshing out in a new video McCain's and the USCWF's sending supplies to the Khmer Rouge, which jibes with McCain's voting to send aid to them in 1989 (Congressional Record).
McCain's recollection and the USCWF's differ as to when McCain resigned, and McCain's information seems to be faulty. After all, he admitted that he did not know whether the organization's work was legal or not. More investigation is needed, and by federal authorities. Of course, they will not care, but the media should.
