As a former movie critic, I always stayed away from celebrities' personal lives and poltical beliefs. As far as I was concerned, they killed my pithy little pieces of piffle that would run in my suburban Cleveland daily.

It didn't help that some celebrities tend to be heavy handed in expressing political beliefs. That is their right. As it was mine to tune out.
But this time, for me, something is different. The celebrity endorsements are different and coming from unexepected sources like the one above.
If Ron Howard, a filmmaker I feel has been underappreciated through the years, Andy Griffith and Henry Winkler can go out on that limb in such a meaningful and hilarious way and endorse a presidential candidate, I can do something different for a change - listen.
