The self titled Hockey Mom, strikes again.
First there was Neiman Marcus-Gate and now Make Up-Gate.
As the market tumbles today to below 8000 possibly, McCain-Palin spent almost $23,000 on her traveling make up artist, the first two weeks of October alone.
Yes! The NY Times is now reporting (after reviewing FEC filing reports, released Thursday night) that Senator McCain's campaign has been paid a whopping $22,800 for the first two wks of October alone.
As a matter of fact, she is the most highly paid person at the moment in the McCain camp. She's was even paid more than any of his foreign policy and much need economic experts. Wow!
Remember, this is Palin's "Traveling Make-up Artist", so she's still being paid until the campaign is over (we hope).
John McCain is truly lurching, shifting and erratic. Where are his priorities?

Who was the highest paid individual in Senator John McCain’s presidential campaign during the first half of October as it headed down the homestretch?
Not Randy Scheunemann, Mr. McCain’s chief foreign policy adviser; not Nicolle Wallace, his senior communications staff member. It was Amy Strozzi, who was identified by the Washington Post this week as Gov. Sarah Palin’s traveling makeup artist, according to a new filing with the Federal Election Commission on Thursday night.
Ms. Strozzi, who was nominated for an Emmy award for her makeup work on the television show "So You Think You Can Dance?", was paid $22,800 for the first two weeks of October alone, according to the records. The campaign categorized Ms. Strozzi’s payment as "PERSONNEL SVC/EQUIPMENT."
Is the Palin-McCain campaign a bunch of hypocrites or not? They continue to show us what their priorities are in this campaign. The NY Times reported, in their upcoming Times Magazine expose on the McCain campaign, that they purposefully overlooked Palin's lack of experience, while choosing her for VP, so they could sell an image.
Well, Shopping-Gate and now Make up gate confirm this. I think Palin should not be taken seriously as a politician at all. This just show's why/how McCain has chosen such terrible foreign policy and economic hacks, as advisors (Carly Fiorina, Phil Gramm, Randy Scheuneman, etc.).
He just doesn't care!
The NY times continues:
The payment on Oct. 10 made Ms. Strozzi the single highest-paid individual in the campaign for that two-week period. (There were more than two dozen companies that got larger payments than Ms. Strozzi). She easily beat out Mr. Scheunemann, who received $12,500 in the first half of October, and Ms. Wallace, who got $12,000.
It seems to me that the McCain campaign, Palin and her make up artist all deserve each other, and their impending doomsday fate and scenario.
Did the market just drop 500 points this morning, before trading even officially started, while Palin is spending all this money on make up and clothes?
