I haven't seen this reported anywhere in the US press. A major Argentinian newspaper reports that a new ad "en español" by the Obama campaign has been leaked, and reportedly it will start airing this coming monday in major hispanic markets with a heavy rotation. As a foreign born latino I can tell you that Barack's spanish is actually really, really good. He doesn't seem to be "forcing it".
Kos from day number one debunked the myth that latino were not going to vote for a "black man". The immigration debate has really damaged the reputation of the GOP in our communities. Whether we agree or not with all the points in the immigration debate, we knew that for the republicans it was more of a white vs brown (specially mexicans) issue that about thoughtful policies.

Torres said he had lost his job at Caesars Palace when tourism began to drop off nine months ago. He got another job at Trump International Hotel and Tower but was laid off three months ago. He pointed to two Ford Malibus in the frontyard and said he was trying to make a living buying and selling automobiles. It wasn't enough. "I'm going to lose this house," Torres said.
Garcia asked Torres who he was voting for.
"Por el moreno," Torres said, using a respectful word for a black man. "He's the best. The other one is just going to keep helping the rich."
A generation of latinos are embracing the Democratic Party for decades to come.
Si Se Puede!!!
Update #1: Please note in the LA Times article how the Latino vote is pushing Barack's numbers up in New Mexico, Nevada & Colorado.

Update #3: Loose translation (I am in a hurry! Halloween parties with the kids...)
"This is the American dream: when you work hard, your family can succeed. That if you get sick, you have health insurance. That our children can receive a good education, whether you are rich or poor.
So I ask for your vote, not only for me and the Democrats, but also to keep this dream alive for you and your kids".
