After four weeks working 110/hour weeks as a volunteer for Barack Obama's Campaign for Change in Las Vegas, I finally got to see Obama today! Even better, I had an amazing view of the event!! Enjoy my latest photos:
More eye candy after the fold
The event drew 18,000 people.
The event was Obama's "Early Vote for Change Rally." Many states, including Nevada, offer its residents the ability to vote early. The campaign sees this as one of the most important ways to win this election (hint, hint).
People came from all over the region and even out of state. This guy drove all the way from Anaheim to see Obama (check out his Disney-themed button array).
Obama was clearly enjoying the great reception he got.
More people shots:
I'm a sucker for the kids in the crowds:
When the union members showed up, the place went crazy. Obviously, McCain doesn't have a monopoly on the "Bobs" of America.
And of course, everyone was there to see our amazing candidate.
This woman had a lot of flair:
It was great to see Obama in person. It's amazing how he's able to keep up such a grueling schedule and still delivery at his/our rallies.
The event was set up as an Early Vote event. Nevada gets to early vote from 10/18 to 10/31. And, of course, I've already voted. Any guess on who I voted for?
I hope you enjoyed these latest images. It was a thrill being able to take them and it has been an amazing experience volunteering for the campaign. It's going to take a lot more effort to win this thing. I put everything on hold to work for this campaign because I don't want to wake up on November 5th and have to wonder if I could have done more. This campaign has always been about us and its success depends on what you do in the next 10 days.
Find out how to help in your state NOW.
AND... If you live in Nevada or a state with early voting, VOTE!
