Obama recently noted that his greatest fear regarding the outcome of this election is not that the Palin-McCain ticket will somehow find the competence or appeal to overtake him, but rather that his own supporters will become so comfortable in his lead in the polls (which are tightening mind you!), that they become complacent – perhaps even deciding to forego voting.
But who would decide not to 'bother' voting?
Likely no one here at DK, but we all probably know someone somewhere that is a little less involved in the political process. They support Obama, but they’re the type who might not make it to the polls if they think this thing is safely tucked away in the Obama column.
We can't afford to let that happen!
So I have just the thing for these people – a fantastic tool we can use to give these people the push they need to get to the voting booth regardless of the poll position in which we find Obama come Election Day.
Check out this video – completely and easily tailored to the name of anyone you choose. (Jump!)
Ex: What if I, Tom Ball, became complacent and decided not to vote? That wouldn’t matter, right?
Let's see...
Uh, oh! I better get off my complacent ass and go vote, NOW!
Now go here, stick the name of your friend in there and send them a fun, friendly reminder to get out and vote for Obama!
