This is not about an Obama victory, which I think it's very, very, very likely. It's about what McCain is about to say in his press conference schedule to start any minute now (current time 2:00 pm EST). He's going to bring up the LA Times story that was posted back in the primaries.
He's going to cry about the LA Times not releasing the video and make EVERY single media outlet to talk about it more during the rest of the campaign. But his real purpose is to raise doubt and continue the character attacks.
Real issues are not moving the needle for him. Socialist calls are moving some but not enough to win the nomination. This is design to move late deciders to McCain's side in greater numbers and of course stop his surge among Florida's Jewish voters.
What we need to do is to engage in pushing back as strongly as possible and actually highlight the REAL relationship between McCain and Khalidi. This is not about the true...this is about raising doubt. That's all McCain needs to slow the Obama momentun.
Get ready, sit back, push harder. Use this story to push back. Everyone will talk about this six month old story that was very well documented by the LA Times. Media types (Morning Joe, Fox, CNN, etc.) will just focus on the negative instead of highlighting that Obama has actually been very strong on Jewish issues.
