Kind of a long title, but I have a lot of things to say.
First of all, I watched the debate with my parents and a large group of middle-aged women (some of whom are Republicans) and it was almost like watching an episode of The Office. We counted only 5 questions out of the 25 asked (our counting could be off) that were directly answered by Palin. That's 20%, leaving 80% of the questions unanswered. We lost track of how many times she used the word "maverick" and squealed with excitement when Biden took McCain on headfirst by asking, really, what policy does McCain differ from Bush on that makes him such a maverick?
Again, some 80% of questions asked were unanswered by Palin. We also lost track of how many times she diverted her answer by discussing her "energy credentials", including when answering questions about Iran and Palestine.
Furthermore, today while volunteering at my local Barack Obama Office (very very local - I live in in tiny Republican town in southeastern Wisconsin and I'm very happy to have an Obama office here), I managed to convince three undecided voters to vote for Obama after talking to them about Palin and the issues that matter to them. Now, mind you, I, being 15, am not yet of voting age, so at least I can do something to help the cause.
That's all.
