[below: 73 second video documents Palin-endorser Thomas Muthee's anti-Catholic bigotry]
A report released tonight, from the New Apostolic Reformation Research Team, breaks new ground documenting activities of the global religious and political movement Sarah Palin appears closely tied to.
In 2000, Palin borrowed a video on "Spiritual Warfare" from one of her former pastors. The video could also be characterized as a training presentation on fighting witches, witchcraft, and "territorial demons".
Starring in the video was the man who anointing Sarah Palin October 16, 2005: Thomas Muthee, East Africa Director For The Spiritual Warfare Network.
The Transformations videos are advertised as having been viewed by 200 million people in 70 languages. A star of the videos is none other than Thomas Muthee - the same man whose anointing of Sarah Palin has become an issue in the 2008 presidential campaign. But the videos are important for far more reasons than Palin and Muthee. Muthee's words, just prior to anointing Palin, on invading and infiltrating society and government are not aberrations. They reveal the disturbing ideology of a growing and powerful religio-political movement in the U.S. and around the world. That a GOP Presidential candidate might be tied to two self-declared witch hunters seems jarring.
‘Spirits of witchcraft’ ? ‘Jezebel spirits’ ? ‘Python spirits’ ? ‘Jehu anointings’ ?
All of those terms can be heard in audio and video from of services held at what now appears to be Sarah Palin’s central church, the Wasilla Assembly of God.
What form of Christianity employs those terms, and what do they mean ?
Mainstream media has almost wholly failed to penetrate the mystery, and so the close to 150 million American expected to vote in the 2008 presidential election are left with troubling questions.
From the right come dark whispers: Obama is secretly a Muslim.
Palin's Spiritual Warfare Witch-Fighters
Meanwhile, Sarah Palin has demonstrated ties to professed witch hunter Thomas Muthee. Indeed, Muthee endorsed and blessed Palin in an October 16, 2006 religious ceremony that National voters would be unaware of except for the efforts of a vigilant blogger : records of the October 16 event were erased early in September 2008 after John McCain picked Palin as his running mate.
Palin has been linked now to a second professed witch hunter, an Alaskan woman who says that in 1995 her prayer group’s "spiritual warfare" drove a witch from the state: Mary Glazier has also stated, at a religious conference in July 2008, that Sarah Palin joined Glazier’s Wasilla prayer group in 1989 at the time, according to Glazier, when "God began to speak to her [Palin] about entering into politics." Was Palin still in that prayer group in 1995 ? Did Palin herself fight the Alaska witch ?
[below: video with audio excerpts from Mary Glazier’s July 13, 2008 address in which Glazier stated that Sarah Palin had joined Glazier’s prayer group, then based in Wasilla, when Glazier was 24 yerar’s old. Audio excerpt starts approx. 45 seconds into video]
Mainstream journalists haven’t asked, though a New York Times reporter has obtained further confirmation of Palin’s link to Mary Glazier. As another troubling piece lately added to the puzzle, an AP story has noted that Wasilla Mayoral records show Sarah Palin borrowed, in 2000, a training video on reducing societal crime and addiction by fighting witches and demon spirits.
What does it all mean ? Is there a wider pattern ?
For mainstream America, Sarah Palin’s religious beliefs which, given current mainstream knowledge, would might thoroughly opaque.
Witches ? Spirits of witchcraft ? Jezebel spirits ? Python spirits ? Jehu anointings ? What does it all mean ?
Speaking only in vague generalities about her "faith", Sarah Palin hasn’t been forthcoming on the mystery.
Is it fair to question a political candidate on her religious views ? After all, doesn’t the US Constitution forbid religious tests for political office ?
The answer is yes. But to the extent political candidates aren’t candid about their views voters have every right to be suspicious.
And, what we do know about Sarah Palin’s religious associations, not to mention her behavior as mayor of Wasilla and governor of Alaska, gives pause.
Sarah Palin’s two witch-hunters, Mary Glazier and Thomas Muthee, neatly bracket Palin’s entrance into politics, at twenty four, and her emergence as a national political in late 2006 when she won the governorship of Alaska.
Beyond hounding alleged witches, Glazier and Muthee are in a movement that some say encompasses one hundred million globally, growing at an astonishing rate, within an even larger tendency of "non-denominational" charismatic Christian churches now close to an estimated 300 million worldwide.
Both Thomas Muthee and Mary Glazier are top leaders in an enormous network, reshaping modern Christianity, led by a soft spoken man who bears an astonishing likeness to a former, world famous fried chicken mogul. C. Peter Wagner is, in the field of religion, an emerging titan and an entepreneurial genius - who is binding together in associational networks many different strands of the fastest growing sectors of Pentacostalism and charismatic Christian churches.
In 2000, Sarah Palin borrowed a witchcraft-fighting training video, the sort of inspirational paean that would appeal to those who consider witches and demons a clear and pressing danger to society and if this seems silly and quaint, consider some of the starker, stranger and more threatening of the highlights in a newly released 36 page report, from an independent research team, on the wider religious and political movement Sarah Palin appears closely tied to:
The report documents numerous activities of these spiritual warfare networks including:
-Description of their battles against the major demon, the Queen of Heaven, that they believe prevents Roman Catholics from being evangelized
-Declaration against the major axis of evil that they believe resides in the Israeli Supreme Court and Knesset
-Spiritual warfare excursions to attack these major demons, with one excursion in the Himalayas reported as having perhaps helped kill Mother Theresa
-Spiritual warfare campaigns in Brazil, Argentina, Guatemala, Uganda, Kenya, and more
-Spiritual mapping to locate demon strongholds in locations including Jerusalem, Strasbourg, Pittsburgh, University of Texas, Chennai, India and more
-Apostle led emergency services with Homeland Security and FEMA partnerships
-Prophecy and prayer based policing, suicide prevention, and other social services
-Spiritual mapping of demon strongholds at major monuments and buildings in the U.S.
-Conventions on "wealth transfer" and "wealth release" to plan for the money that the prayer warriors expect to get from Satan and the ungodly
-The repentance of generational curses to help evangelize Native Americans, Jews, and Muslims
-National political figures on phone calls and at conferences with New Apostolics to discuss converting Jews, ending droughts
-Strategic outlines for taking control of society and government in Austin, Texas and other communities
-Prophecy chants used to try to affect the outcome of the election
Additionally the report examines the major leaders with direct ties to Palin.
